bio
Norman played Division I basketball at Stephen F. Austin State University, following a stand-out performance at Garden City (KS) Community College. He was an Academic All-American who twice led his team in scoring while shooting over 45% from the three-point area and over 85% from the free throw line. He still holds the all-time scoring record after almost forty years and before the three-point line existed at Thomas More Prep-Marian High School (KS) – one of the top prep programs in the state. He also remains in the top 5 of the SFA record books after thirty years with single-season three pointers made and three-point field goal percentage.
Professionally, Norman ran some of North America’s largest leadership and talent consulting firms for over 25 years working with top employers such as Southwest Airlines and many other Fortune 500 companies. During this time, Norman was active in youth sports – coaching teams, running and working basketball camps, organizing AAU basketball teams, and working with children on their skills development.
With Alodia Basketball Academy, Norman leveraged his background and experience to provide a unique experience for each and every athlete to improve his or her physical, mental and leadership skills. Norman’s passion for helping athletes take their game to the next level and developing the leaders for tomorrow is the mission of Alodia Basketball Academy. Click HERE to learn more.
Norman also believes it is important to give back to those organizations that helped him throughout the years. One way he is currently doing this is by serving as Chairman of the Executive Advisory Board at Stephen F. Austin State University Business School.
