Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 5, 2026

Alodia Basketball Academy ("Alodia", "we", "us") runs youth basketball leagues, camps, training, tournaments and facility rentals in the greater Houston area. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our programs, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Information you send us. When you use our contact form or email or call us, we receive what you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number and message.
• Registration information. Program registration and payment are handled on our LeagueApps registration pages. There, a parent or guardian provides details such as player name, date of birth, grade, contact details, emergency contacts and payment information.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site and the services it uses receive basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages you visit.

Registration and payments

Registrations and payments are processed by LeagueApps. We do not store card numbers on this website. Information you enter on LeagueApps is also covered by the LeagueApps Privacy Policy.

How we use information

• To run our programs: placing players on teams and in divisions, scheduling, and communicating with families.
• To answer your questions and requests.
• To send program updates, schedule changes, weather cancellations and registration reminders.
• To keep players safe, including using emergency contact details when needed.
• To keep this website secure and working well.

Children's privacy

Our programs serve children, but registration is completed by a parent or guardian. This website is not designed for children under 13 to send us personal information, and we do not knowingly collect it from them through this site. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Photos and videos

We may take photos and videos at our leagues, camps and events and share them on this website and our social media to celebrate our players. If you would prefer that your child not appear, email us at [email protected] and we will do our best to honor your request and remove existing posts on request.

Cookies and third-party services

This website uses a small number of services from other companies that may set cookies or receive technical data from your browser:

• Google reCAPTCHA, to protect our forms from spam.
• SnapWidget, to show our Instagram posts.
• OpenStreetMap, to show program locations on maps.
• Adobe Fonts and Google Fonts, to display our typefaces.
• Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, device and approximate location), without identifying you personally.
• LeagueApps, for registration pages and program listings.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as expected if you do.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our programs and website (such as LeagueApps), with coaches and staff who need it to run a program, when required by law, or to protect the safety of our players, families and staff.

How long we keep it and how we protect it

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, but no website or system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your choices

• You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you or your child.
• You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us.
